Welcome to my little dot in the universe!

My name is Joanie, and  I’ve always been a crafter, but crochet was one of the first crafts I learned as a child and the one that I always come back to. It’s creatively fulfilling, fairly quick and easy, and quite practical! 

I didn’t set out to design or write my own crochet patterns – it just kind of evolved. The more I got into crochet, the more ideas I had. So I started tinkering. Fast forward a few years and I have so many projects that I’ve had such fun creating that I decided to make this little home for them.

I would describe my style as modern classic – not too trendy as to be passé in a few years, and not so traditional as to be passé from the get go. I’m also all about ease. Most of my patterns utilize basic crochet stitches and their variations so that just about anyone can work them up. That is not to say that they are so simple that you won’t learn anything, just that I do my best to make sure you’re not tearing your hair out while you do!
